GREAT:  Because if you haven’t sucked boogers from your baby’s nose are you really a parent?  Just kidding, but in all seriousness this might be one of the BEST baby products to have ever been invented!  If you haven’t used this on your child when they are stuffed up I need you to drop everything and go purchase one ASAP – it is that good.  I don’t think I would be able to survive my children’s colds without it and considering every couple weeks one of my boys is stuffed up with boogers, this thing is the answer to all my booger prayers.  While the concept sounds disgusting when you try to explain it out loud, it is actually extremely easy and not gross at all.  When my husband first saw me with it in my mouth moving towards Christian he stopped me and asked what I was doing.  When I told him the look of horror on his face made me laugh out loud.  Once I walked him through it and showed him how the filter prevents any bacterial transfer or boogers from getting to me he quickly became OK with the process and has done it to the boys on multiple occasions.

When your baby is stuffed up and sounding like they are miserable with their inability to breathe through their nose you will do just about anything.  I purchased a NoseFrida before Christian even arrived in anticipation for his first cold and you better believe I was thankful to have it when that first cold hit.  Being able to quickly and efficiently relieve some of your baby’s discomfort is such a good feeling as a parent and this works 100% of the time.  I can’t tell you how many boogers I have sucked out of my boys nose with this device and while they may not love it when it is happening they always smile once I’m done and they are able to breathe again.  I honestly can’t recommend this product enough, every parent should have one!

GOOD:  Easy to use, easy to clean and easy to take with you everywhere!  The contraption is fully assembled and ready to use right out of the box.  All you have to do is insert in your baby’s nose and suck.  It is so easy anyone can do it.  After I'm done I like to run some water through the main piece in order to clean out the boogers and I’m good to go.  It is also top-rack dishwasher safe.  Every month I replace the filter, or sometimes I replace more frequently depending on amount of use.  The NoseFrida is relatively small and super easy to travel with.  If either of my boys are stuffed up I throw this in my diaper bag to take with me just in case I need to use it while out.  Whenever I travel I always take this with me, even if no one has a stuffy nose in case either boy gets one while we are away from home.  I couldn’t imagine battling a cold without it, it is seriously that good.  In addition it is BPA and phthalate free.

BAD:  While the boogers will in no way get to you, at the end of the day you are still sucking boogers out of your baby’s nose and for some people they can’t get past this.  If you are squeamish and the thought of using this makes you gag it might not be the product for you.  I almost get excited when I get huge boogers out of my boys’ noses, its like a competition – me vs. the cold and I’m always trying to win.  I’ll be lying if I said my stomach has never done a little turn when sucking boogers, but that was when I was pregnant with Thomas and many things made my stomach turn.  I promise after using this a couple times you won’t even flinch at the thought of it and the relief your baby gets after you are done using it more than makes up for how you are feeling in that moment.

UGLY:  There is absolutely nothing ugly to say.  As I stated above this is a must have on every parent’s list.  If you don’t have one go out and get one, you won’t regret it and your baby will thank you!
