ZOE XL2 Best V2

July 20, 2017

GREAT:  Lightweight – and I’m not talking 25lbs but lightweight for a double stroller – I’m talking 100% lightweight at 17lbs.  This is the everyday, everywhere, run an errand stroller that you take with you as you travel the world.  In fact, American Airlines just dropped their weight limit for gate checked strollers (now 20lbs) but this one still easily passes the test.  The difference between this double stroller and other lightweight double strollers (besides a good 7+ pounds) is the quality.  There was no quality lost in making this stroller light.  It has features galore (described below), can fold with one hand, is built with high-quality materials that you can feel and see and is priced affordably.  I would pay WAY more to get this stroller – it has everything I was looking for and more and I was shocked when I saw how great of a price it was.  I swore there had to be a catch or thought I would be disappointed by the product when it arrived but the exact opposite occurred.  It is better than I could have imagine and didn’t disappoint in a single area.

GOOD: Features, features, features and the price!  This thing is jam packed with awesome features at an incredible price ($299.99).  You have huge 4-panel canopies that basically cocoon your child and block all sunlight, self-locking and standing when folded, an elastic storage basket that makes it super easy to get your diaper bag and other products in and out of, magnetic peekaboo windows to check in on the kids, weight limit of 50lbs per seat, cup holder / snack cup / belly bar that can be done in various configurations, detachable parent cup holder, all-aluminum frame, deep 165 degree recline which makes this stroller useable from an early age (manufacturer says 6 months but add an infant insert with the deep recline and my son was comfy much younger than 6 months), convenient storage pockets on the back of each seat, backpack style harness that makes it easy to get the kiddos in and out of quickly, deep and wide padded seats with a tall seat back for extra comfort, roll-up rear shade for extra air-flow – I mean the list goes on and on and on.

If all of that wasn’t enough to buy the stroller it has a 365 day return policy so that you can try it out in your home.  If you aren’t 100% satisfied you can easily return.  I returned my original stroller as the V2 got announced a week after I received the original version and it was incredible easy and painless return process.

BAD:  The stroller isn’t going to push like an UppaBaby Vista or BOB – meaning it doesn’t have those extra-large tires that make pushing almost feel like it is happening automatically rather than manually.  With that being said, it has an easy push for a lightweight double stroller.  The stroller comes with a large wheel set which can handle most terrain.  The wheels also allow you to turn on a dime making the maneuverability of this stroller extremely easy.  I just brought my stroller to Jackson Hole and while it successfully made it anywhere I wanted to take it there were some areas that I got a little more of a workout than expected.

UGLY:   I have nothing ugly to say about this product.  It is an amazing double stroller that anyone with two kids – especially those with two under two should get right this instant.
